I saw the move at the time of Comicon 2005 in San Diedo, being hosted by Viz communication - I was fascinated by the depiction of Rococo era from French history being modernized in a girl who lives in a country side of Japan. I think the movie did a good job in putting together the 2 distict girls culture in Japan - one of cute and extravant fashion and the other of punk speed racing on a motorcycle. Above all, it was a totally entertaining movie with a lot of laughter. I think it will do well in the US.
